Nagarakata: A pair of jungle cat cubs were rescued from Changmari tea plantation in Nagarakata. The workers saw the pair of cubs this morning between A One and A section of the upper division of the garden, which is the second largest in Asia. They were in a drain in the tea garden. After receiving the information, the garden authorities informed the forest department about the matter. Wildlife wing’s killer range staff came and checked the cub. “The cubs are very small,” said ranger Sajal Dey. According to the rules, it is not possible to remove them from their mothers. Therefore, it will remain where it was.’ Changmari tea garden assistant manager Sanjeev Debnath said, ‘The cubs are being watched so that no one can harm them.’
