Karachi: The Jamaat-e-Islami party has announced a city-wide protest and sit-in from today over the results of local elections in Karachi.
Speaking to the media after the party meeting at Noor Haq Institute, Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said, We have allowed a sit-in outside the offices back in the city as a result of the delay, for now. will be demolished, if there is drilling, if the process of changing the result does not end, there will be nationwide protests and dharna from Wednesday and if necessary, the roads of the country will be blocked.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami had made a historic comeback in the local elections of Karachi, citizens had left their political affiliations and chosen Jamaat-e-Islami. The ROs changed the results under the nose of the Electoral Commission, the PP and the Electoral Commission worked together.

Hafiz Naeem said that PP is celebrating by stealing other people’s authority till Karachi then we will organize a large-scale thanksgiving gathering.
Mr. Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that the election was postponed 3-4 times, we went to the election even though the list Voters are not removed, fight for the citizens and will continue to do so.
