The Ministry of Healthin its function of monitoring products that put health at risk, ha recalled an advent calendar potentially dangerous. The chocolate inside is at risk.
The risks associated with the product are “potential”, but given the young audience it is aimed at, the calendar is not suitable for consumption. The warning is not to consume it and take it back to the point of sale.
Recall for advent calendar: anomalous flavor
With the note of 15 November the Ministry of Health (also present ondedicated app) decided to recall a product potentially dangerous. This is a advent calendaror rather of chocolate inside it.
The product is from the brand “Chocolate“. The sales denomination name is Chocola advent calendar 75g. The manufacturer is Millano Sp-z oo SKA, while the retailer, i.e. the supermarket where the product is sold, is the Penny Market Srl. The address of the factory is not known, specifically, but is indicated generically as “Poland”.

What triggers the alarm is the “abnormal” taste and smell.
It reads:
Possible sensory alterations (abnormal smell and taste).
The recall, scheduled for November 15, 2024 for the product with an “all expiration” date, comes with a warning. The note reads: “Customers who have purchased the product are asked not to consume it. For information contact us at the site: http://www.penny.it/contattaci”.

With another note from 14 November the Ministry of Health has decided to recall a dangerous product. This is a pack of basmati rice,
The product is from the brand “Gold Star“. The sales denomination name is Basmati Gold star. The manufacturer is Sarwar cheema & sons, while the name of the product marketed is “Fresh tropical srl by Jawad. The address of the factory is not known, specifically and is indicated as “Gold star” in the recall note and “Pakistan”.

The alarm is triggered by the presence of pesticides beyond legal limits.
The recall, scheduled for November 14, 2024 for the product with an expiration date of “06/13/2026,” comes with a warning. The note reads: “Do not consume the product, return the product to the shopkeeper”.
To recognize the packaging:
- the product is inside a 1kg black package;
- the writing is “Gold Star – Super Kernel. Basmati rice” and after the image of the rice there is another writing “Extra long grain”.
