The Ministry of Healthin its function of monitoring products that put health at risk, has recalled several products dangerous. This is a series sweets and savoury snacks quite well known.
The risks associated with the products are quite serious, so much so that the ministry has asked to be careful about consumption. The warning is in fact not to consume it if there is a risk allergic reactions and to bring the various products back to the store.
Biscuits and Snacks Recall: Risk of Allergic Reaction
With the note of the July 17th the Ministry of Health (also present on thededicated app) has decided to recall several potentially dangerous products. It concerns a series of sweet and savoury snacks that take the name (sales name) of “Safiya Ltd.”. The name identifies the brand’s products Olympic sold in supermarkets.
The manufacturer and the establishment identification mark is Safiyahowever, the address of the factory is missing. To better identify the packages under recall, you can therefore check the number of the accused batch:
The products are as follows:
- Energy plus biscuits
- Elachi biscuits
- Lexus Cookies
- First Choice biscuits
- Saltes biscuits
- Chanachur Savoury Snack
The alarm was raised by several errors on the label indicating the presence or absence of allergens.
The recall, scheduled for July 17, 2024 for products with expiration dates 11/05/2025 and 27/11/2025, has a warning. The note states that the products must not be consumed for those with recognized allergies. For this reason, finally, the withdrawal of the product from supermarkets is requested.

Other symptoms are gastrointestinal ones such as nausea and vomit (reactions that may occur immediately after ingestion of the allergen) or diarrhea and abdominal pain (symptoms that may occur following consumption of the allergen).
Equally common are the scardiovascular diseases:

- palpitationsor irregular or rapid heartbeat
Finally, there are the delayed reactions, which describe the datopic hermatitisthat is, chronic inflammation of the skin and theeosinophilic esophagitisa chronic inflammation of the esophagus, which can cause difficulty swallowing and chest pain.
