According to the analysis of Assium, considering the best offer available on the portal for a type of domestic users with an annual consumption of 1,400 cubic meters, the gas bill for those who choose a fixed price contract amounts on average a 1,765 euros per year. By opting for a variable price offer, the cost rises to 1,852 euros, with an increase of almost 5%.
By examining the trend of the best offers in the last quarter, it emerges that in February the rates of fixed price contracts increased by 4.12% on average compared to the conditions of November 2024. In the same period, the variable price offers recorded an even more marked increase, with an average increase in the 9.12%.

The analysis of the best gas offers between November 2024 and February 2025 highlights a generalized increase in rates for domestic users. On average, fixed price contracts are climbed by 4.12%with variations ranging between 3.80% in Florence and 6.70% in Naples. North cities record more content increases, while in the south the increase is more marked. Despite the increase, the fixed price offers are currently the most convenient solution for consumers.
