Poste Italiane users encountered problems with the application today, 22 January 2026. The malfunctions began in the early afternoon: as reported by the portal Downdetectorreports peaked at 1,414 at 3:11 p.m. Specifically, 67% of users reported problems with the app, while 27% were unable to log in during the login phase. Finally, the remaining 6% encountered difficulties with the website.
Poste Italiane announced that it had resolved the outage around 4pm.

In terms of geographical distribution, the reports came from all over Italy, although in greater numbers in large cities such as Turin, Milan, Verona, Bologna, Florence, Perugia, Rome, Naples, Palermo and Catania.
Although the downturn has been resolved, Poste Italiane has not yet provided official explanations as to why these malfunctions occurred. The episode occurs just 10 days after the last down, recorded on January 12, 2026.
