20 years of songs played on loop, playlists built for every mood and podcasts listened to on the commute from home to work. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Spotify launched today, Tuesday 12 May 2026, a new celebratory feature called “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s)”. This allows all users, free and premium, to access a complete summary of their listening history on the platform. This is a sort of much more accurate Wrapped collection, which does not stop at the partial statistics that we have been accustomed to for some time in the usual end-of-year report. This time Spotify goes much further back, to the first day we signed up for the service.
The feature includes never-before-shared data, such as the exact date we opened our account, the first song we ever streamed, the total number of unique songs played over the years, and the artist we listened to the most overall. The experience is available only on mobile, in 144 markets and 16 languages, and joins a series of global charts with which Spotify celebrated its first two decades of life.
Spotify’s 20th anniversary: how to activate “your party”
Here are the steps you need to follow to access the “Spotify 20” experience which, we remind you, only works from mobile.
- From your phone’s browser, visit partyoftheyears.withspotify.com/it/ to go to this page and tap Open Spotify: you will be redirected directly to the app experience. Alternatively, if you are reading this article from a PC (or in any case from a device where you don’t have Spotify installed), visit the page we just told you about and then scan the QR code you find there.
- Tap the red Click to Start button and follow the screen navigation: each slide reveals a different piece of information about your history on Spotify.
- At the end you will find the shareable cards: tap Share next to the card you want to share with your contacts and select the sharing option you prefer.
