The complaint came fromNational Union of Provincesgathered in recent days, which has calculated an amount of cuts equal to 1.7 billion euros. While the mobilization brought Pasquale Gandolfi to a meeting with Giorgia Meloni, called “positive”, the Minister of Transport promised during an intervention in Genoa that a part of the funds will be recovered and destined for the city.
The complaint of the provinces
The Ministry of Transport cut the funds for road maintenance. According to the National Union of Provinces, the cut amounts to 1.7 billion euros compared to what is allocated by the government for the interventions.
In some provinces the cuts are greater because the greater the need for intervention on the road surface.
