The FS group presented the new brand in Rome FS Logistix and the integrated digital platform fslogistix.com. An initiative that aims to create a more sustainable European logistics system, focused on customer needs. The goal is to become an interconnection platform for logistical operators, activating new partnerships and enhancing the best Italian and European skills.
The presentation saw Sabrina De Filippis protagonists, CEO of FS Logistix, Antonio Brunacci, director of Strategies and Tid of FS Logistix, and Leopoldo Destro, delegate of Confindustria to transport, logistics and tourism and culture industry.
According to De Filippis, the platform represents a fundamental piece of the strategic plan 2025–2029, with 2.16 billion euros of investments for digitization and asset development. These are his words during the presentation:

How the integrated digital platform works
The platform is designed to optimize the management of logistical operations, guaranteeing personalized solutions and complete traceability. With a single access point, customers can integrate the logistics chain in iron-gommas-mare mode, receiving responses on transport and end-to-end solutions in real time.
There are already eight companies in the logistics sector of the FS group integrated in the platform, which offers 21 services to support seven industrial supply chains. The operational heart is the widget of the site: users can enter the transport details and get immediate answers.
What is the FS Logistix
FS Logistix was born to consolidate the European presence of the FS group. With 22 countries involved, seven operating companies e over 50 million tons of goods transported every year, the brand replaces Mercitalia Logistics and strengthens the orientation towards a more integrated European logistics.
The goal is to become a European Freight ForWarder that manages the entire value chain, with a name recognizable internationally.
The new Green fleet
The industrial plan includes the renewal of the fleet with 110 electric locomotives, 25 locomotives from maneuver, 2,000 wagons and a green ship for connections in the Strait of Messina. In addition, it aims to digitize processes and the development of terminals.
Environmental sustainability is at the center of the strategy, with interventions aimed at reducing emissions and energy impact of logistical activities.

FS Logistix was born to respond to the needs of the market and improve the competitiveness of Italian and European companies. With this project, the FS group consolidates its strategic role in strengthening the interconnection between industry and transport, for the benefit of the real economy and sustainable development.
