Maneuver called to test amendments. The 2026 budget law under consideration in the Senate was hit by over 5,700 amendment proposals, 1,600 presented by the majority parties and 3,800 by the opposition. A number that will have to be thinned out by November 18th by the parliamentary groups, who in total will have to select a maximum of 414 amendments, the so-called “reported”, discarding the less relevant ones.
If the mass of requests from the center-right is a sign of contention within the Government itself on some matters of the bill, on the other hand there are already numerous bonuses that have been confirmed in recent weeks, as have the measures definitively cut.
Confirmed house bonuses
Among the bonuses extended in the 2026 Budget there will be space for those relating to benefits for home work. The 50% deduction for renovations for the first home has also been proposed again for next year, but will drop to 36% in 2027.
For interventions on properties in which there is no residence, the owners will be able to request a tax bonus of 36% for 2026, also in this case reduced to 30% the following year.
In addition to works on masonry and systems, the two-rate scheme will also apply to the ecobonus, confirmed from January for energy efficiency interventions, such as the installation of heat pumps, the replacement of fixtures, and in general regarding thermal insulation.
In 2026, it will also be possible to request a 50% contribution for the purchase of furnishings and large appliances, up to a maximum of 5 thousand euros, the so-called furniture bonus, while the appliance bonus awaits the green light after the click day on 18 November, the discount granted in relation to the ISEE for families, with a spending ceiling of 200 euros for high energy efficiency ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers and washing machines, in exchange for an old appliance to be scrapped.
Finally, the earthquake bonus has also been extended, for the works to secure buildings located in seismic risk zones 1, 2 and 3 from earthquakes.
Renewed bonuses for families
In the chapter on measures to support families, there will be various bonuses proposed again in 2026.
The tax-free contribution intended for working mothers will be increased from 40 to 60 euros and will remain valid until the youngest child’s tenth birthday, or 18th in the case of three or more children.
The minimum requirements remain those of 2025: mothers with an ISEE income of less than 40 thousand euros, fixed-term or indefinite contracts, but also freelancers and self-employed workers with at least two children will be able to apply.
In 2026 the amount of the universal single allowance will also increase, revalued according to inflation.
Extensions have arrived for next year on the newborn bonus, 1,000 euros of INPS contribution for ISEE under 40 thousand euros for each new birth, adoption or foster care from 1 January 2025, and on the nursery bonus, a subsidy of 3,600 for nursery registrations intended for families with an income of up to 40 thousand euros, valid from 2026 also for micro-nurseries.
Bonuses canceled in 2026
The 110% Superbonus will definitively disappear from the Maneuver, except in cases of works related to post-earthquake reconstruction, in the municipalities of territories in which a state of emergency was declared due to the earthquake in Central Italy.
According to what has been foreseen so far in the budget bill, the architectural barrier bonus will also be cut in 2026, the 75% deduction for interventions aimed at eliminating physical impediments that hinder people with disabilities or reduced mobility in buildings, such as stairs or narrow doors, for which the deadline of 31 December 2025 is confirmed.
