Dl approved infrastructure, euro 5 diesel and bridge over the strait

The Senate approved the Infrastructure decree: Now it is law. It will be published in the Official Gazette by next 20 July and will present a series of novelties compared to the original text.

Inside, in fact, several changes have been approved, such as the entire series of rules for public contracts And the advances for the prices of 10% for the designers, but above all the readmission of the Euro 5 diesel and interventions on the bridge over the Strait.

Diesel Euro 5 in the North: confirmation

The DL Infrastructure has passed with 104 votes in favor and 67 against. Now there is only the passage in law to wait, but what does it contain? Many themes and changes to the text compared to the original. One of these additions, very expected, is the readmission of the Euro 5 diesel engines in the northern regions.

It is official: the blocking of the circulation of Euro 5 diesel cars has been postponed. The extension is only a year, but in the meantime the citizens of Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna will have more time to find a solution between personal investments or state and regional supports.

The abandonment of the Euro 5 diesel will still take place towards October 2026but with new rules. The amendment to the DL Infrastructure put the dots on the “I”. If there are no changes, the small municipalities will not see the block applied.
