The Italian Ministry of Health has issued the recall from the market of some lots of burgers of organic beef sold under brand name Fileni Bio. The reason is connected to risk of salmonella which could result from the consumption of the food by consumers. This is not the only notice issued by the ministry and the producers in these hours. In fact, it is worth mentioning that there are also other food products that could be harmful to citizens due to the presence of substances exceeding the permitted thresholds. These are a few batches of salami and suppressed with and without garlic under the Salumi Luigi Vida brand and of mini salami sold under the Borgodora brand.
Fileni hamburgers recalled: lots and risks
The first product recalled from the market from the Ministry of Health are the organic beef burger branded Fileni Bio. The ministry’s operation follows the initiative of the supermarkets Coop who were the first to remove the goods in question from their shelves. At the basis of the recall, as mentioned, is the risk of salmonella.
The product is sold in packs of 180 grams, while i lots affected by this recall are three, specifically the 45672The 45372 and the 45072respectively reporting the following expiry date: 26, 27 and 29 October. As is evident, at the time of publication of the ministry’s notice, which occurred on Monday 28 October 2024, two of the three lots had already expired.
The production of the organic beef burgers was carried out by the company Bioalleva Srl for Fileni Alimentare Spa. The production plant is located in via R. Spineta 1374, in Vallese di Oppeano, in the province of Verona. The identification mark is S4Y97.
Anyone who, following an inspection, realizes that they have purchased the recalled product must, first of all, avoid consuming it and, subsequently, go to the point of sale with the receipt to request a refund. Salamis and soppressas also recalled
The object of the Ministry of Health’s attention is also a batch of homemade salami and local soppressawith and without garlic, which has been recalled as a precaution. The product bears the name The Friulians and is sold under the brand name Luigi Vida cured meats. Also in this case the department reports the possible presence of salmonella.
The products subject to the recall are sold in packs of 4.5 kg, 600 grams and 300 grams, while the number of lot And P242420. Expiry dates are March 18, 2025, The 7 and 16 January 2025.
The recalled salami and soppressa were produced by the company Maggie Srl for Salumi Vida Sas. The production plant is located in via dei Laghi 28, in Torreano, in the regional decentralization body of Udine. The identification mark is I 1002 L.
The collection of the salami mignon
Lastly, we point out the withdraw on the part of Carrefour of a batch of mini salami which is sold under the brand Borgodora. In this case the possibility of a microbiological risk (unspecified) linked to the consumption of the food.
The lot of the product, sold in pieces of approximately 90 grams, is 348304with the expiry date corresponding toApril 8, 2025. The salami was produced by the Salumificio Borgo Dora Spa company, whose production plant is located in Corso Vercelli 279/A, in Turin. Identification mark EU IT 926 L.
In this, as in all the aforementioned cases, consumers are invited not to consume the product and to ask for a replacement or refund at the point of purchase.
