Caravita uphill on each front for the Italians. With the end of summer, families risk suffering a significant increase in prices compared to last year on spending, transport, bills and other essential goods and services.
According to Codacons’ analysis, from September until the end of the year, a stone of 416 euros is expected to more per family compared to the same period examined in 2024, without taking into account the expected increases as repercussions of the US duty.
The increases on the shopping cart
The consumer association underlines that each family with two children will have to prevent a growth of 130 euros from here in December only for food goods, without calculating the expenses during the Christmas holidays, which between lunches, dinners and toasts are destined to make the account rise a lot.
According to the National Observatory of Federconsumatori, on the basis of the analysis of the data on inflation, the increase is around 196 euros per year per core as regards the food sector.
From the latest Istat survey, the caravan weighs more on the prices of unspecified food goods (from +5.1% to +5.6%) and processed (from +2.8% to +3.0%, but also on transport ( +3.3% to +3.5%) and on recreational, cultural and personal care services (from +2.7% to +2.9%).
The increases of the bills
From September, the costs of energy also threw up. Codacons estimates an average increase in rates of 15% in the last part of the year, taking into consideration the increase in the prices of energy raw materials on international markets in response to the seasonal increase in demand for the access to heating during the cold season, already starting from mid -October.

The dear school

According to the Association, a family unit of 4 will have to take the balance sheet until December the total payment of 66 euros more between tolls and prices at the petrol station.
