THE’INPS embraces the last technological revolution: theartificial intelligence It will be used to read the first signals of business crisis so as to allow timely interventions before the conclaimed insolvency.
This is not a purely technological update, but a real cultural turn in the management of corporate risk.
The INPS embraces the IA
By 2026 the Institute will equip itself with predictive software capable of intercepting signals of financial difficulties of companies in real time. The heart of innovation is a algorithm able to monitor i contributory flows and report deviations or irregularity Before they turn into structural and potentially irreversible insolvencies.
The announcement came during the conference organized by Assolombarda on “The role of the INPS in the management of business crises after the corrective ter in the crisis code”, which took part in more than 400 lawyers and managers of the Institute.
To explain the details was Antonio places, Central Director of Inps Revenue. The new tool has pointed out, is currently being trained and validation and will allow you to bring the best practices of the institute to the most remote provinces, reducing statistical errors and facilitating a managerial management of the crisis.
In his speech, he has specified that compared to the recent past
“The picture is much more challenging and imposes a cultural change, in the direction of a managerial and proactive approach, not bureaucratic, to the management of the business crisis, starting from a constant monitoring in debt exposures, the early identification of the crises susceptible to flow into insolvenze, the analysis and assessment of the proposals and the recovery potential”.
The INPS technological revolution
But the application of artificial intelligence is only one step of a wider plan. They also focus on other strategic tools, such as
- a unique channel for documentary obligations for companies and intermediaries;
- a monitoring and management platform of debt exhibitions called Mo.CRI (crisis monitoring);
- the introduction of the pre-ward (single document of early contribution regularity);
- the expansion of the true certification (verification of corporate regularity), in strong growth since 2022.
The future of INPS passes through a “managerial, proactive, timely” management that is able to intervene practically “in real time”, is specified.
It is a real change in the philosophy behind the INPS, which will stop being a creditor who intervenes in retrospect, to become an actor who collaborate directly with the companies, taking them by the hand.
There are therefore three pillars of the new organizational model of INPS:
- prevention;
- structured debt management;
- digitization of procedures.
First signs of change
While waiting for the technological turning point, the numbers are meanwhile encouraging: in 2024 the INPS tried to recover, through the judicial procedures for companies in crisis, almost 21 million euros of unpaid contributions, in marked decrease compared to 30.7 million in 2022. This could indicate greater effectiveness in the prevention of crises, or an improvement in early collection or even less serious failures.
For the rest, the government’s initiatives carried out in an attempt to make the “friend” tax authorities of taxpayers such as, for example, the biennial composition with creditors, the amnesty and the various measures to support workers and businesses are accompanied by the further digitization of the INPS.
