Postal savings bonds are among the savings and investment products most appreciated by Italians. In fact, they have no costs for opening and management and are also guaranteed by the Italian State. Today there are different types of securities: there are postal bonds for short investments but also those for longer periods, up to 20 years.

Each voucher has different characteristics and interest rates. So what are the best of June 2026?

Which postal vouchers to choose in June

Postal vouchers are products issued by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and placed on the market by Poste Italiane.

They can be purchased at post offices in both paper and dematerialized form or online by connecting to the company’s official page or using the app, but only if you choose the dematerialized form.

These are products that become interest-free from the day after expiry and which become statute barred 10 years after expiry. When this condition occurs, you lose the right to collect the interest accrued and the capital invested.


Among the best of the moment there are:

  • vouchers dedicated to minors;
  • ordinary vouchers;
  • Renew 3×4 vouchers with prize;
  • the voucher for 6 months voucher;
  • the 4 year Plus voucher;
  • the voucher renews Prima.

Vouchers dedicated to minors

Savings bonds dedicated to minors are those that offer the highest yield. They can be purchased up to the minor’s age of 16 and a half and accrue interest until his or her age of majority.

Parents, family members and acquaintances can purchase these securities in paper form by means of bank or bank cheques, promissory notes or draft checks made payable to the minor. The dematerialized version can only be subscribed to by the guardian or parent who holds a Smart savings account or a BancoPosta account.

The gross annual interest rates of the vouchers dedicated to minors updated as of May 6th are as follows:

  • 2% after 1 year and 6 months, 2-3-4-5 years;
  • 2.25% after 6-7 years;
  • 2.50% after 8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15 years;
  • 3% after 16-17-18 years.

Ordinary vouchers

Among the best postal savings bonds there are also ordinary ones, which are among the first to have been marketed. Previously they had a duration of 30 years, now they last a maximum of 20 years.

You can request reimbursement for these securities whenever you want but the interest accrued is only recognized starting from the end of the first year.

The gross annual interest rates received are as follows:

  • 0.75% after 1-2-3-4 years;
  • 0.90% after 5 years;
  • 1.04% after 6 years;
  • 1.14% after 7 years;
  • 1.25% after 8 years;
  • 1.36% after 9 years;
  • 1.47% after 10 years;
  • 1.57% after 11 years;
  • 1.64% after 12 years;
  • 1.75% after 13 years;
  • 1.86% after 14 years;
  • 1.97% after 15 years;
  • 2.07% after 16 years;
  • 2.18% after 17 years;
  • 2.28% after 18 years;
  • 2.37% after 19 years;
  • 2.50% after 20 years.

Ordinary vouchers, as well as those for minors, can be subscribed to online or online if you have a Smart Booklet or a BancoPosta account used for online device services or at a post office. In the latter case you must bring with you a valid document and your tax code.

Renew 3×4 vouchers with prize

For long periods you can also subscribe to Renew 3×4 vouchers with a premium that last 12 years. They are available, however, only to those who have repaid one or more vouchers or Supersmart Deposits from 1 January 2026 or 30-year ordinary vouchers.

The conditions in force from 6 May 2026 are as follows:

  • gross annual effective return of 1% at the end of the 3rd year and 1% including premium at maturity;
  • gross annual effective yield of 1.50% at the end of the 6th year and 1.50% including premium at maturity;
  • gross annual effective return of 2% at the end of the 9th year and 2% including premium at maturity;
  • gross annual effective return of 2.50% at the end of the 12th year and 2.99% including premium at maturity if you wait 12 years.

The Renew 3×4 year Premium voucher can be subscribed to via the app or the web if you have a BancoPosta account or a postal passbook enabled for device services or at the post office, bringing your identity document or tax code with you.

Good for 6 months good

For short investments you can choose the 6 month voucher which lasts only 6 months from the subscription date and offers a gross annual yield at maturity of 1.25%.

The interest received is credited to the settlement account and only the capital is reinvested in a new BFP of the same type. Repayment of this security can be requested at any time but interest is only recognized at the end of the indicated period.

The 6-month voucher can be purchased from the web or from the app if you have a Smart Booklet enabled for device services or at a post office.

Voucher 4 years Plus

There is also the 4-year Plus voucher among the best if you want to invest your money for short periods. In fact, it lasts 4 years and offers a gross annual return of 1.50%. As with the others, reimbursement (even partial) can be requested whenever you want but interest accrues only at the end of the fourth year.

The 4-year Plus voucher can be purchased at a post office for amounts of 50 euros and multiples and bringing with you a valid identity document and tax code. Alternatively from the web or from the app if you have a Smart Libretto or a BancoPosta account enabled for device services.

Renew First Coupon

We close our roundup of the 6 best postal savings bonds of June with the Rinnova Prima. This is a security that cannot be subscribed to by everyone but only by those with an expiring dematerialized voucher and offers a gross annual interest rate of 2.25%.

This voucher lasts 4 years and can be booked in the 30 days preceding the expiration but only at a post office.
