There’s a new one recall food provided by the Italian Ministry of Health to which consumers must pay attention. More specifically, it is a lot from the spice mix for masala (or curry) of beef (beef masala) which is sold under the brand name Bashundhara. At the basis of the withdrawal by the manufacturer, later confirmed also by the Ministry of Health, there is the possible presence of pesticides within the product in question. All the information to recognize the blend of spices for beef masala, such as the batch and the expiration dateas well as the behaviors to follow to obtain the reimbursement.
Recalled Beef Masala Spice Blend: The Lots
In the notice of recall published by the Ministry of Health in the appropriate section of its website we read that the spice blend for beef masala (beef masala) is sold in 100 gram packs under the Bashundhara brand.
Specifically, the one to be recalled is a lot of the product that corresponds to the serial number M524TMC10MAY2026while the expiry date (minimum shelf life, TMC) is fixed to May 10, 2026.
The mixture production plant
In addition to the batches, expiration date and brand, consumers can also identify the recalled product by checking the manufacturing plant of beef masala spice mix. Going into more detail, the production was carried out by the Bashundhara company, while the marketing was carried out by the company RKS by Ali Noor Khan Snc. It should also be noted that, in the recall notice, the ministry did not indicate the specific address of the manufacturing plant.
What are the risks for consumers
At the basis of the recall ordered by the ministry is the possible presence of pesticides – unspecified – within the product in question. Anyone who has purchased the spice mix for beef masala must, therefore, avoid consuming it to avoid unpleasant consequences for your health.
How to obtain reimbursement of the sums spent
In addition to not ingesting the product, consumers can move to obtain the change of the same or the reimbursement of the amounts spent. It will be enough for them to go to the point of purchase and, equipped with the regular receipt, expose their condition to the cashier center.
Rusky Dry Cake biscuits also recalled
In the same hours in which the ministry issued the recall notice of the aforementioned mixture of spices, it also carried out the same operation for some batches of Rusky Dry Cake biscuits sold under brand name Kishwan. The reason, in this case, is the presence in the food of egg not declared on the 300 gram packages.
The numbers of lot affected by this second recall are 02/24, 03/24 And 04/24, with the respective minimum retention terms which are set at 2 and 24 January 2025 et al February 4 of the same year.
The manufacturing plant is located in the industrial area of Nasirabad, Chittagong, Bangladesh. The identification mark is RA-260315210028719.
