Bauli products recalled before Christmas due to risk of allergen presence, batches withdrawn

The brand Trunks has been informed of a potential hazard in its products. On the site we read that, to avoid health consequences, some lots specific sweets should not be consumed. As happens with the withdrawals foreseen by the Ministry of Health, which is responsible for monitoring products that put health at risk, large-scale retail supermarkets and the companies themselves can also inform customers of any risks.

In this case a supplier informed Bauli of the presence of a allergen in one of the raw materials used for some Christmas confectionery products. Hence the request for non-consumption to avoid allergic reactions in consumers who cannot consume it peanuts.

Recall for Bauli sweets: presence of allergen

The Ministry of Health has not yet sent a note regarding the recall of some Bauli products, as it usually does through the dedicated app and website. However, some supermarkets and Bauli himself intervened: on 13 December, in fact, on the brand’s website it is possible to read thenotice to customers for the recall of some potentially dangerous products.

These are three confectionery products: Dolcecremino, Chocolate Pudding and Profiteroles. The production plant is located in via Verdi 31, in Castel d’Azzano, in the province of Verona.

To better identify the packages under recall, you can check the number of lots below:

  • for the Dolcecremino the lot is the number: lt451v
  • for the Chocolate Pudding the lot is the number: lt451v
  • for i Profiteroles the lot is the number: lt452v

What triggers the alarm, as already indicated, is the possible presence of peanuts in a raw material used for the preparation of the indicated products. The withdrawal, expected at the time of publication of the note on the Bauli website, does not clearly indicate the expiration dates of the products.

In the note on the site we read the warning to customers regarding the anomaly of the Christmas confectionery products. As a precaution it was requested to do not consume them and return the product to the point of sale where it was purchased to request an exchange or refund. In fact, it is possible to change the offending batches with others, because the anomaly concerns exclusively the former, while all the others are safe for consumption.
